VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

SHORELINE HABS MONITORING
Volunteers perform weekly shoreline surveys to monitor for and report Harmful Algae Blooms.

SECCHI DISK PROGRAM
Volunteers use their own boats to perform a weekly clarity reading and take a surface water temperature.

COMMUNICATIONS TEAM
CLWA strives to educate watershed stakeholders using a variety of media. Do you have a passion for storytelling and effective communications? We need you!

JOIN A COMMITTEE
CLWA programs are delivered by our committees: Membership/ Marketing, Citizen Science, Projects, Outreach.

SPECIAL PROJECT ASSISTANCE
Park cleanups, tree planting events, hunting for invasives, placement of signage, building projects. Our CLWA volunteers have always risen to the occasion!

ORGANIZATIONAL SUPPORT
CLWA can always use help with our mailings, assembling training packages, or help coordinating events. It’s rewarding, and FUN to connect with other lake-loving folks!
