Public Presentation: Update of the Canandaigua Lake Watershed Plan, February 18th at 2 pm

A public meeting will be held to provide an update on the process to incorporate the EPA Nine Elements into the existing watershed plan for Canandaigua Lake.

The public will be able to comment on updating the plan at the meeting and on the Watershed Council’s website: https://www.canandaigualake.org/9e-plan

Presenters will include Watershed Council staff and professors and a doctoral student from Cornell University. They will:

• Review the existing Watershed Plan
• Describe the process to update the plan to a 9 Element Plan
• Summarize computer modeling and water quality monitoring helping to estimate pollution loads, and
• Provide a draft set of Best Management Practices with pollution reduction estimates.
