  • Learning about the natural wildlife around Canandaigua Lake: We will go on scavenger hunts to collect organisms for study. We will also teach you about harmful invasive species and you will assist us in their removal!
  • Learning how scientists monitor and study the lake: We will design and conduct an experiment that will study the water quality in streams around the lake.
  • Playing games!

What should I bring?

  • Waders, water shoes or extra pair of sneakers that you can get wet
  • Phone if you have one
  • Sweat shirt
  • Towel
