Come and meet the decomposers to find out!  You can learn how to use this year’s pumpkin to help grow a great pumpkin next year.  We will read a great book\, find out more about kinds of pumpkins\, their life cycle and the many uses for pumpkins.  You may even get to sample some pumpkin snacks and take home some recipes!! \nThis is the first of many more fun Mini Workshops held with CLWA at our new office space at 144 Mill Street in Canandaigua\, right near the Farmer’s Market Pavillion. Stop at the Farmer’s Market\, then join us for this fun Pumpkin workshop. Parents\, feel free to drop off your kiddos\, ages 4-8 for this workshop\, then go grab a coffee or shop at many of the great local small businesses on Canandaigua Main Street! \nWe will have workshops for all ages\, including adults\, so keep a look out for more classes to come! DESCRIPTION:Come visit Maggie Benham\, author of the new children’s book “LAKE DOG”\, and the star and inspiration of her book\, Tipper\, for a book reading\, signing\, and sale at CLWA’s new office space at 144 Mill Street in Canandaigua on Small Business Saturday. The book reading will begin around 11. \nThis fabulous children’s book\, but a read that can be enjoyed by all ages\, is about Tipper the dog that loves the lake and inspires all people to take joy in and love the water as much as she does. The end of the book also provides tips and ways everyone can care for the land and water as well as gentle reminders of how we can reconnect with nature! 🙂 \nCLWA will also have Merchandise and our 2023 Calendars available for sale. Folks who ordered calendars in advance\, and those we have for our amazing volunteers\, will be available for pick-up. We will also be decorating our Christmas tree and have some tasty treats for all to enjoy!
