SECOND ANNUAL MEETING OF CANANDAIGUA WATERSHED ASSOCIATION WILL BE HELD

The second annual meeting of Canandaigua Lake Watershed Association will be held Saturday, August 20, 2011. The CLWA was established January 1, 2010, as a result of the merger of Canandaigua Lake Association (formerly East Shore Association) and Canandaigua Lake Watershed Alliance (CLWA).

SEPTEMBER 2011

SENECA HERITAGE DAY

When: Saturday, September 3, 2011, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Overacker School House, N. Vine Valley Road,
Middlesex
Features: Native American storyteller, music, games

RING OF FIRE

When: Saturday, September 3, 2011
Time: 9:00 p.m.
Where: Bonfire on Bare Hill; flares lit around the lake

Directions to Bare Hill: Take Route 364 (East Lake Road) south and turn right toward Canandaigua Lake on North Vine Valley Road (Yates County Road 10) by the Overackers Corners School House. Go about a mile, then turn right onto Bare Hill Road and go a short way before turning left onto Van Epps Road. Travel west to the parking lot; parking is limited.
